BURLINGTON, VERMONT- Janice Remington Faucett, formally of Oakland, Rhode Island, passed away following a brief illness on Monday, November 18, 2013 in Burlington, Vermont.
Born Janice Elizabeth Remington on June 18, 1942 in Providence, Rhode Island, she is predeceased by her parents Clinton O. Remington Jr., and Elizabeth Racine Remington of Oakland, RI.
She is also predeceased by her sisters Judith Remington Parsons formerly of Charlotte, VT and Joyce Remington McKenna formerly of Pascoag, RI.
Janice is survived by her husband Thomas B. Faucett of Shelburne, VT, her son Jefferson C. Atkins Sr. and partner Steven J. Thomas of Weathersfield, VT, grandson Jefferson C. Atkins Jr. of Burlington VT, granddaughter Theresa D. Atkins and grandson Owen D. Atkins of Fairfield, CT and Weathersfield, VT. Janice is also survived by her brother Clinton O. Remington III and sister in law Susan Hardiman Remington of Harrisville, RI, brother in law Rodney L Parsons of Charlotte VT and brother in law Gerard McKenna of Providence RI. Janices life was fulfilled abundantly with the many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews that she thoroughly loved and enjoyed throughout her life.
