Polling locations, time for Tuesday's elections in Woonsocket

WOONSOCKET – The city will open 11 polling places in citywide elections for mayor and City Council tomorrow, according to Estelle Corriveau, manager of the Board of Canvassers.
The locations are the Middle School at Hamlet at 60 Florence Drive; John F. Kennedy Manor, 547 Clinton St.; Park View Manor, 218 Pond St.; Fairmount Heights, 525 Second Ave.; Crepeau Court, 100 Front St.; No.1 Fire Station, 169 Providence St.; Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School Hall, 1371 Park Ave.; Bernon Heights School Cafeteria, 657 Logee St.; Leo A. Savoie School Cafeteria, 990 Mendon Road; Woonsocket Senior High School Cafeteria, 777 Cass Ave.; and Gov. Pothier School Gym, 420 Robinson St.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. (A story in today's editions incorrectly stated polls open an hour later.)
Each polling place will have a poll moderator, poll clerk, and four poll supervisors working the election. The three members of the Board of Canvassers and three staff members from the Board of Elections will be working at the canvassers’ office at City Hall, processing results, according to Corriveau.
