BELLINGHAM- Robert J. "Bob" DiRenzo. 58, of Bellingham formerly of Attleboro, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at UMass Memorial in Worcester with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 28 years of Diane A. (Capps) DiRenzo.
Born in Attleboro on December 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Juliano and Katherine (Murray) DiRenzo.
He was the loving father of Samantha J. DiRenzo and her boyfriend, Matthew Simmons, twins, Corey R. DiRenzo and Dylan J. DiRenzo and his girlfriend, Coreybeth Hamel, all of Bellingham. He was the brother of the late Juliann Lynch. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Violet Capps of Woonsocket, RI.
A resident of Bellingham for 19 years formerly of Attleboro where he was raised and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School and then received his Bachelor Degree from Roger Williams University.
Bob was an Assistant Treasurer at MCI Cedar Junction, Walpole for 20 years until retiring in 2012.
Bob was a member of the Woonsocket Elks Lodge #850. He was an avid bowler and a member of the league at Walnut Hill Bowl, enjoyed spending summers at Cape Cod, and a New England Patriots fan.
Devoted to his family, Bob will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours are on Sunday, September 22nd from 1 to 4PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 4PM. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations in memory of Bob may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461, would be appreciated.
