WOONSOCKET- Bertrand R. Belanger 66, of Adams St. died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of Jacqueline (Saumur) Belanger. Born in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Alphonse and Flora (Berube) Belanger. Bert owned and ran K.C. Wood Products along with his wife since 1986. He had previously owned Knitters Corner, and was the past Vice President of the West Shore Rd Association in Denmark, ME. Bert enjoyed spending time with his family at their lake home in Maine.
Besides his wife he leaves a son, Paul Belanger and his wife Tracie, and a daughter, Patricia Belanger and her significant other, Louis Petrin all of Woonsocket, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-8 PM. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
