LINCOLN- Janet Lajoie Poirier, 68, of Lincoln, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Landmark Medical Ctr. in Woonsocket.
Born, April 14, 1945 in Marlborough, MA. she was the daughter of the late Hughie & Nancy (Carter) Lajoie.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Arthur "Popeye" Cote of Lincoln, a daughter Nancy Savadyga-Medeiros of Woonsocket, a stepson David Cote of Lincoln, 2 stepdaughters Lisa Taft & Jennifer Cote both of Woonsocket., 3 brothers Frederick Lajoie of Cumberland, RI , Edward & Charles Lajoie, both of Woonsocket also a sister Dorothy Brule of No. Smithfield, she also leaves 11 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Elaine Dodge & Doris LeBlanc.
Relatives & Friends are invited to visitation hours on Friday morning, May 3rd, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
