Eva L. Branchaud

NORTH SMITHFIELD- Eva L. (Lavimodiere) Branchaud, 58, of North Smithfield, died Monday Mar. 11, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Normand L. Branchaud.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of Irvin Lavimodiere and the late Florence (Martinelli) Lavimodiere.
Eva was a graduate of Woonsocket High School. She was the co-owner of Coffee & Cream in North Smithfield and was a hairdresser at Salon 799 in Bellingham, MA. Eva's love of beaches here in R.I. was only exceeded by the pleasure she derived from her annual vacations, with her family, in Aruba. Eva was a true humanitarian, she always took time to listen and talk to everyone. During conversations, she made you feel that you were the most important person in her world and she could truly unravel any dilemma presented to her. Eva's lively presence, winning smile and love of life made each day brighter for all who knew her. The one word to describe Eva is "INSPIRING".
Besides her husband and father, Eva leaves her children, Stefanie Loxley, her husband Jason, Jonathan Branchaud, his wife Heather and Melissa Branchaud, all of North Smithfield; three brothers, Victor Lavimodiere of Hopewell, VA, Leo Lavimodiere of Woonsocket and Frank Lavimodiere of Cumberland; three sisters, Lucille Ackley and Marie Corriveau, both of Woonsocket and Lisa Korzeniowski of North Kingstown; and her dearly loved grandson, Jameson Loxley.
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northern RI Hematology/Oncology Program, 115 Cass Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
