WOONSOCKET- Doris G. (Blondin) Moretti, 79, of Larch St. died February 22, 2013 in Trinity Health Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Adolphe Moretti.
Born in Cumberland daughter of the late Roger and Eva (Laramee) Blondin.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for the former Woonsocket Hospital and Fogarty Hospital and also for the Woonsocket Health Center prior to retiring.
Doris love gardening and doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.
She is survived by five children Linda and her husband Jeffrey Fallin of Woonsocket, Kenneth and his wife Paula Moretti, of Woonsocket, and Steven and his wife Yvonne Moretti, of New York, and Thomas and his wife Nancy Moretti of Burriville, and William Moretti of Woonsocket.
She is also survived by one brother Richard Blodin of Mexico. Seven grandchildren.
She also leaves her canine companion Daisy.
She was the sister of the late Robert Blodin.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 11 A.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Thursday from 10-11 A.M.
