Elizabeth (Bette) Doonan

PALM BAY, FL- Bette Doonan, 89, of Palm Bay, FL, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in the comfort of her nephew Kai's home.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Edward James and Mary Francis (McMullen) Doonan.
Family members Edward, Paul, David and Peter predeceased her in life.
After moving to Nyack, NY in 1954, Ms. Doonan worked for Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Nyack. In 1981, she moved to Melbourne, FL and was employed by Devereux. After retiring, she was a resident of Trinity Towers West before moving to Palm Bay.
She is survived by family members Stephen Sanborn of White Deer, TX, Philip Sanborn of Reading, MA, Ann Bach of West Melbourne, FL, Kai Bach of Palm Bay, FL, Kristoffer Bach of Edinboro, PA and Bryanna Bailey of Charlotte, NC; six nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Melbourne in the near future.
