WOONSOCKET- Marie Annette Vezina, 94, of Woonsocket, died January 6, 2013 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence with family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Elie and Anne Marie (Paquet) Vezina.
Ms. Vezina worked for Union St. Jean Baptiste for 32 years and was an accounting supervisor. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of Precious Blood Church. She loved traveling, was an avid reader and dearly loved animals.
Ms. Vezina was devoted to her family, she leaves two nephews, George E, Vezina of Warwick, and Paul Vezina of Newbern, NC; two nieces, Therese Cote of Lebanon, TN, and Elizabeth Bonfiglio of Venice, FL; she also leaves many grandnephews and grandnieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Alphonse, George and Philippe Vezina.
Her funeral beginning with visitation at 9:30 AM will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington Ave. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun St. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA, ASPCA Tributes, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
