BELLINGHAM- Constance A. (Aangeenbrug) Kluit, 82, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI with loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Willem H. Kluit.
Born in Sassenheim, Netherlands on May 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Willem Aangeenbrug and Arina (van Ginhoven) van Voorst.
She was the loving mother of Willem J. Kluit of Bellingham, MA; Johan A. Kluit of Leesville, LA; Tanja A. Kluit and her husband, David Hunter of Forest Grove, OR and Mary M. Kluit of Pawtucket, RI. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Pieter H., Ariana J., Mieke R., and Hanneke L. Hunter. She was the sister of Frans van Voorst, Jr. of Glen City, MO; Kathy Hunter and her husband, Russell of Farmington, CT; Mieke Helms of Hamilton, OH; Willie Zessoules of The Villages, Florida; the late Robert Aangeenbrug, and his wife, Mary Aangeenbrug of Gulfport, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was a resident of Bellingham since 1965 formerly of the Netherlands. She worked as a manager for H & R Block in Bellingham, Franklin and Woonsocket for over 30 years until retiring in 2005. Prior to coming to the United States, she was a teacher and principal in Holland. She was an active member at St. John's Episcopal Church in Franklin and Trinity Episcopal Church in Milford where she was in the choir, women's guild, alter guild and was a funds counter. She was an avid knitter.
She was a loving wife, and devoted mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 1:30PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress Street, Milford, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
