CUMBERLAND- Roger J. Nolin, 89, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his entire family Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012. He was the husband of Jeanne (Charpentier) Nolin.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Cote) Nolin. Mr. Nolin lived most of his life in Cumberland.
He was a carpenter for Cumberland Engineering for 33 years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed gardening, camping, square dancing and spending time on Cape Cod. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Paul Nolin and his wife Susan; his daughter, Elaine Romano and her husband David; and his grandchildren, Michael Nolin and Lori Nolin Clemence and her husband, Scott. He was the brother of the late Lena Bourque, Flora Hogue, Mary Standring, Rita Fontaine, Raymond Nolin, Ted Nolin, and Pete Bourque.
The funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements by O'Neill Funeral Home, Cumberland.
