NORTH SMITHFIELD- Mary T. (Urrico) Mencucci, 86, of East Old Greenville Rd., No. Smithfield, died November 21, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Carlo Mencucci, Sr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Gardella) Urrico.
Mrs. Mencucci was a homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Woonsocket and also sang in its' choir.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son; Carlo Mencucci, Jr. and his wife Betty of Burrillville, four daughters; Mary Ann Boucher and her husband Denis of Chepachet, Eleanor Vanhouwe and her husband Brian of No. Smithfield, Kristine Cote and her husband Edward of No. Attleboro, MA and Frances Marshall and her husband Guy of No. Smithfield, a brother; Frank Urrico of FL, a sister, Grace Urrico of Westerly, eight grandchildren; Derek Boucher, Julia Grist, Kristin and Jillian Vanhouwe, Mariesa, Samantha and Matthew Cote and Scott Gould and two great grandchildren; Angelina and Jackson Grist.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Parkinson Disease Association, P.O. Box 41659, Providence, RI, 02940.
