NO. SMITHFIELD- Marjorie R. (Rose) Esten, 89, of Village Way, No. Smithfield, RI, died November 14, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late E. Winsor Esten, Jr.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late William and Maybelle (Strickland) Rose.
Mrs. Esten was a faithful communicant and a very active member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was always willing to dedicate her time to her local food bank.
She leaves two sons, Winsor L. Esten of Cranston, and David M. Esten of Lincoln; her daughter, Sally E. Morelle of Woonsocket; her brother, William C. Rose of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Betty Davies of Sanford, NC; two grandchildren and one great grandson. She was the sister of the late Lloyd Rose.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10 AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St, Woonsocket, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O.
