BELLINGHAM- Lorraine A. (Guimelli) Purich, 72, of Bellingham, MA, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center with loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Purich.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on June 1, 1940, she was the daughter of Anthony and Alyce (Garabedian) Guimelli.
She was the loving mother of James M. Purich and his wife, Dena of Eugene, OR, Bobbie-Lee A. Purich of Bellingham, MA and the late Michael J. Purich. She was the sister of the late Linda Tremba and leaves her brother-in-law Greg Tremba of Trinity, FL and her sister-in-law Irene Babiana and her husband, James of Bellingham, MA and her nephew Chris Babiana of Bellingham, MA.
Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Bellingham and graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 1958. She owned and operated Lorrie's Town & Country Hair Salon and The Tanning Hut in Bellingham. She loved to cook and travel. Devoted to her family and friends, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Visiting hours are on Friday, November 16th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To sign guest book visit
