WOONSOCKET — It’s no secret that country music star Tim McGraw closed out his latest tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Saturday.
But unless you were at the concert you probably don’t know that, earlier in the day, he personally handed over the keys to a house in Oak Grove to the family of Shaun Connor, a military veteran who was wounded in the line of duty.
It’s all part of a three-way partnership to recognize the sacrifices of military veterans involving McGraw, Chase Bank and San Antonio, Texas-based Operation Homefront, a non-profit program that provides mortgage-free homes to wounded soldiers.
