BURRILLVILLE- Dennis R. Taillon, 58, died suddenly, Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Bridgewater, VT. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Flinton) Taillon, whom he was married to for 28 years.
They lived in Pascoag for many years and also spent time at their property in Bridgewater, VT.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Lionel and Dorothy (Daggett) Taillon.
Dennis worked as a Welder for Electric Boat in Quonset for more than 27 years. He was an active member of Pascoag Fire Department, Hose Company #2 since 1990.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Kenneth Miner of Boring, OR, three daughters, Dale Simonds of Killingly, CT, Erin Eckhardt of Plainville, MA and Heather Guenard of Foxboro, MA, three brothers, Lionel Jr., Richard, and Michael Taillon, and six grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Saturday Aug. 25, 2012 at 10AM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Calling hours will be held Friday Aug. 24, 2012 from 4 to 7PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
