Many residents of Woonsocket have expressed that this monument is really, very, so extremely important. Yet before the FFRF contacted the city regarding its existence, it was crumbling and falling apart. It's shameful that it took the threat of its removal to get folks to pay any attention to it. Actions DO speak louder than words.
