Dennis C. Pruitt

BLACKSTONE - Dennis C. Pruitt 65, of St. Paul St. died Wednesday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in San Francisco, CA, he was the son of the late Robert and Lorraine Pruitt. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis was a teacher for forty two years, the last ten years he taught at Good Sheperd Catholic Regional School. He studied to be a Franciscan Brother in Kissemee, FL. Dennis was the past Director of Religious Education at All Saints Parish, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph's Church.
He is survived by his sister, Rose Mary Becker and her husband Bill of Los Altos, CA, a niece and nephews and many friends.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, CA at a later date. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 PM. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dennis Pruitt Scholarship, Good Sheperd School, 1210 Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 would be appreciated. Please visit
