Schools revise system of accountability

Rhode Island public schools have begun to work with a revised system of school accountability and intervention after the release of the state Department of Education's 2012 School Classifications on Friday.
The revised accountability system is based on the federally-approved waiver the state won in May for the federal No Child Left Behind Act's (NCLB) standardized approach to accountability and intervention requirements.
