BLACKSTONE- Lucienne A. (Deblois) Brisson, 87, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Marcel R. Brisson.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on September 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Olina (Picard) Deblois.
She was the loving mother of Bruce W. Brisson and his wife, Mary of Nevada and Cathy A. Killian and her husband, Tony of Blackstone, MA; and her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Killian of Brighton, MA, Matt Killian of Blackstone, MA, Nathanial Brisson of Clifton Park, NY, Michael and Brittany Brisson of Gardnerville, NE and William Brisson of Galway, NY. She was the sister of Andre Deblois of Woonsocket, Claire Brisson of Narragansett, RI, Jeanne Lamoureaux of Woonsocket, RI and the late Gerald Deblois, Rene Deblois, Annette Brouillard, and Cecile Gaboury.
A resident of Blackstone since October of 1992 formerly of Bellingham for 30 years and Woonsocket where she was raised and attended Woonsocket Schools. Mr. & Mrs. Brisson spent winters in Florida until her husband passed away in 1993. She lived for her family and will be greatly missed. .
Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM at St. Paul's Church,
48 Saint Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Friday, March 23rd from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
