NORTH SMITHFIELD- Pauline T. (Blanchette) Renaud, 94, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Emile P. Renaud, to whom she had been married seventy-two years.
Born in Blackstone, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Josephine (Duprey) Blanchette.
Pauline had worked as a machine operator for Polytop for seventeen years, retiring in 1979. She later was active in St Agatha's Senior Citizens organization.
She is survived by her four sons, Leo Renaud and his wife Dorothy of Pawtucket, RI, Normand Renaud and his wife Marilyn, Joseph Renaud and his wife Lynda, and Maurice Renaud and his wife Sue, all of Woonsocket, and by her daughter, Noella Lavallee and her husband David of Blackstone, MA, seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of late Joseph Blanchette.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 9AM from the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Avenue, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Monday, 5-8PM.
