BELLINGHAM- Kenneth L. Briggs, 49, of Bellingham, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken at home.
He was the beloved husband for 25 years of Patricia L. (DeBonise) Briggs and the loving father of Robert H., Michaelia E. and Kelleyanne M. Briggs all of Bellingham.
Born in Framingham on August 28, 1961, he was the son of Harry B. and Janet B. (McGuire) Briggs of Marlborough.
He was the brother of David Briggs and his wife Carole of Hudson. Also, he leaves his mother in law Mary DeBonise of Bellingham; his sister in laws, Marie Raney and her husband Gary of Milford, Donna Lavallee and her husband William of North Smithfield, RI; his nephew Jeffrey Stoddard and his wife Pamela and his niece Justine Lambert.
A lifelong resident of Bellingham and graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 1979, Kenneth worked in maintenance for the Town of Sudbury for 13 years retiring in 1998 due to injury. He also was a machinist at I & J Machine in Ashland. He was a Cub Scout Leader of Pack 100 of Bellingham, enjoyed going to yard sales, the outdoors and his visits to New Hampshire and Maine vacationing with his family. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 24 at 11:00AM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at the Scott Cemetery, Center St., Bellingham. Visiting time will be Friday from 10 to 11AM prior to funeral service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
