Sister Estelle Lamothe

SAINT-HYACINTHE- Sister Estelle Lamothe of the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Hyacinthe passed away on April 13th, 2011 at the age of 88. She was the daughter of Wilfrid Lamothe and Agathe Fortin.
She was born in Providence, R.I on July 11, 1922.
She entered the Community on the 2nd of August 1947 and made profession on the 14th of February 1950. She served at Hospice St-Antoine as administrator. She also served in Lewiston ME, where she visited the sick in the hospital, and in their homes. She was very much appreciated by all for what she did for the sick. She was transferred to our Mother House in Canada where she passed away after a short illness.
Surviving are a sister Mrs Lauretta Provost, and a nephew and a niece from the Unites States.
Her funeral will take place at the Mother House on the 18th of April at 13:30 hr. after which she will be inhumed in the community's cemetery
