WOONSOCKET- Lucien J. Lamoureux 87, of Cumberland Hill Rd. died Wednesday at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Lionel and Albina (Lavoie) Lamoureux.
Mr. Lamoureux was employed at Mark Stevens Co. for twenty three years and had also worked in several area textile mills. He was a volunteer at LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro for over twenty five years.
Mr. Lamoureux is survived by a brother Andre A. Lamoureux ,of Cumberland, four sisters, Jeanne Plante of Woonsocket, Constance Labonte of CA, Bernadette Fortier of FL., and Georgette Constantineau of Mapleville, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Rene, Camille, and George Lamoureux, Alice Richards, and Juliette Mandeville.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Friday 4-7 PM. Please visit
