WOONSOCKET- Helen F. "Fran" Eagan, 78, resident of Woonsocket, passed away March 22, 2011 at the Friendly Home.
Loving wife of fifty years to Edward Eagan.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Andrew & Helen (O' Gara) Kennedy.
Fran worked in area textiles. She was a lifelong Woonsocket resident.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Kevin Eagan, Mary Oliveira & her husband Edgar, Patricia Eagan & her companion Dennis Charrette, and Thomas Eagan and his wife Sara, grandchildren Bryan Oliveira, Matthew and Brooke Eagan., brothers, Andrew Kennedy Jr. & his wife Maureen of NY and Charles Kennedy and his wife Rachel of N. Smithfield, brother in law Leo Shiel of Glendale and her loving cat Autumn.
She was the sister of the late Margaret Shiel, and Robert Kennedy.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral 445 Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone MA. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4pm until 7pm.
