Normand A. Gagne

PASCOAG- Normand A. Gagne, 75, of Finn Rd. and formerly of Woonsocket, died May 11, 2014 at home. He was the husband of the late Carmen R. (Tessier) Gagne to whom he was married for fifty-three years.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Romeo and Irene (Deragon) Gagne.
An Army Veteran, Mr. Gagne worked many years as a Production Manager for Miller Electric and had also worked at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and attended Bryant College. Normand was a member of the Cercle Laurier, the Italian Workingmen's Club, and enjoyed spending time with his wife and trips to New Hampshire with his family.
He is survived by three sons, James Gagne and his wife Jackie of Woonsocket, Russell Gagne of Pascoag and Normand "Chip" Gagne and his wife Renee of Woonsocket and five grandchildren, Samantha, Drew, Makenzie, Matthew and Brett. He was the father of the late Thomas Gagne and brother of the late Romeo Gagne.
His funeral will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 beginning with visitation at 4PM followed by a service at 7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
