LINCOLN - Margaret (Lowrie) Khan, 71, of Kennedy Boulevard, Albion passed away peacefully Saturday, March 8, 2014 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Dr. Faridoon Khan.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, a daughter of the late James Edward and Elizabeth (Brown) Lowrie, she came to America in 1961 and married Dr. Faridoon Khan in 1965.
She was a member of Kirkbrae Country Club, Lincoln and New Seabury Country Club, Mashpee, MA.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Farida Khan and her husband, Ramesh Singh of Manhattan, NY; one sister, Ellen Lowrie of Woonsocket; one brother, James Lowrie and his wife, Kitty of Cumbernauld, Scotland; and her three beloved granddaughters, Jasmine, Keira and Serena, all of Manhattan, NY.
Services will be held WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12 at 1 P.M. at Masjid Al-Islam, 40 Sayles Hill Road, North Smithfield. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
