WOONSOCKET- Frank B. Struzik, 88, of No. Ballou St., died February 9, 2014 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Stella A. (Tesavis) Struzik whom he married June 22, 1957.
Born in Bellingham, he was the Son of the late John and Aniela (Wojtak) Struzik.
A WWII Naval officer, Mr. Struzik was the owner of Frank B. Struzik, Inc., Woonsocket. He was a 1950 graduate of the former Lowell Textile Institute, now UMASS at Lowell. Frank was a Patriots and Red Sox fan who enjoyed golfing and strived to set an example for everyone around him, especially his children.
Besides his wife, he is survived by their three children, John F. Struzik and Frank C. Struzik, both of Woonsocket and Nancy Szarko and her husband Paul of Milford, NH, and two grandchildren, Raymond and Sara Szarko. He was the brother of the late Chester and Stanley Struzik.
His funeral will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at10AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Sacred Heart Church, Second Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday from 4 - 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 or NAMI, P.O Box 62596, Baltimore, MD 21264.
