WOONSOCKET- Stuart J. Gast Jr. 33, of Clinton St. died Monday January 20, 2014, in Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket, son of Staurt J. Gast Sr., of Pawtucket, R.I. and Rachel (Bourget) Currier, of Woonsocket, R.I.
Stuart worked for Probability in Smithfield.
He was an avid bowler, and bowled for Bowling with Friends League, and USB Bowling League and Wednesday Night Mix Doubles. Also the Wii Bowling League at Kennedy Manor.
He was a Special Olympian
Besides his father and mother, he is survived by his grandmother Loretta Gast of Pawtucket, R.I. His Nana Phyllis Currier, of Dover, Maine, Step father Alfred P. Currier of Woonsocket. Aunt Dawn Gast, of Pawtucket, Uncles Gerry Gast, of Coventry, and Richard Gast Sr., of Texas. Uncle Charlie Bourget, of Florida, Aunt Claire Michaud, of Florida, and Aunt Lorraine Bourget, of Woonsocket. Big Brother by choice Ron Godi, of Woonsocket and many cousins.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. with a Mass of Christian Burial changed to 11 A.M. in St. Leo's Church, 697 Central St. Pawtucket, R.I. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Dagget Ave. Pawtucket, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Monday January 27, 2014 from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations to R.I. Special Olympics Woonsocket Wildcats, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, R.I. 02917, in his memory would be appreciated.
