PORTSMOUTH â Mount St. Charles rebounded from Friday nightâs 6-3 loss to Bishop Hendricken with a solid 3-0 shutout of Moses Brown on Sunday at the Portsmouth Abbey rink.
Brian Campbell scored two goals to lead the Mounties, who evened their Division I league record at 3-3 on the season.
âWe played great,â coach Dave Belisle said. âThe kids had to kill seven penalties and they did a good job of it. Overall, this was a good bounce-back game for us.â
Mount gets another crack at first-place Hendricken (7-0-1) on Saturday night in a 6:30 p.m. game at Thayer Arena in Warwick.

SANFORD, Me. â Cumberland took home two individual champions and a fourth-place team finish from the highly competitive Redskins Invitational tournament on Saturday.
Erik Travers was named Outstanding Wrestler in the event after pinning all four of his opponents en route to the 145-pound championship.
