Edgar D. Roberge
WESTBROOK, ME - Edgar D. "Eddie" Roberge, 66, of Westbrook, Maine died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Dolley Farm in Westbrook after a long illness. He was born in Biddeford on June 4, 1948 the son of Lucien and Yvonne Nadeau Roberge. He was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School.
Mr. Roberge worked several years as a carpenter in the local area and was a trailer truck driver for Carl Subler of Saco. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially in the Allagash Valley.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Smith, Stanley, 75, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on Sept. 16th, 2014. He was born on May 1, 1939 in Woonsocket to parents Robert and Alice Smith. Stanley resided in St. Petersburg, FL for many years.
Raymond J. Lanctot, Sr.
CUMBERLAND - Raymond J. "Pete" Lanctot, Sr., 68, of Sun Valley Dr., Cumberland died Sunday evening at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Suzanne F. Lariviere. They were married on September 19, 2004.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Louis and Clarinda (Gagnon) Lanctot. He was raised in Albion and resided in Cumberland for over 25 years. During his life Pete also lived in Bellingham, Woonsocket, Pawtucket and New Orleans.
Mr. Lanctot was a U. S. Navy veteran.
Alfred E. McCooey
WAKEFIELD - Alfred E. McCooey, 86, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Al was born in Blackstone, MA, and was the son of the late Dr. James H. and Winifred E. (Stacy) McCooey of Blackstone. He was the beloved husband of Claire L. (Daignault) McCooey of Woonsocket for 59 years.
Lt. Col. Robert H. Desjardins
MANVILLE - Margaret "Peggy" Chenail, 75, of Manville, died Monday, September 15, 2014 surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of Robert S. Chenail. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leone and Helen (Kirrane) L'Heureux.
Peggy was a dedicated nurse at Woonsocket Health Center and enjoyed working for Home Care Services of R.I.
Mathias H. Young
BURRILLVILLE - Mathias H. "Joe" Young, 94, resident of Mapleville, RI, passed away September 15, 2014, at home surrounded by his family.
He was the loving husband of 74 years to Mildred Evangeline "Vangie" (Spink) Young.
He was born in Mapleville, RI, a son of the late Harrison & Mary (Dickey) Young.
Thomas Epps Jr.
WOONSOCKET - Thomas Epps Jr. 63, of Charles St., died Saturday, September 6, 2014, in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center with his family by his side. He was the companion of Cleora Green of Woonsocket. Born in Newberry, South Carolina, son of the late Thomas Epps Sr. and Tranni Ray (Harmon) Epps.
Mr. Epps was a self employed Brick Mason for several years.
He is survived by nine children, Candice Beauregard, Jeremy Green, Thomas Gaffney, Corneila Bassole, James Wilson, Germaine Green, Shanta Smith and Charon Smith all of Woonsocket, RI.
Michael W. Oram
MESA, AZ - Beloved father, son, brother and friend to all, Michael W. Oram, 55, of Mesa, AZ, passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014. He was born in Melrose, MA, on May 20, 1959.
He is survived by his cherished daughters Ashley, Taylor and Danielle of San Tan Valley, AZ, his adoring parents William and Barbara Oram of Beverly Hills, FL, and his loving brothers and sisters, Lynne Farrell, Jim Oram and wife Michele, Lisa Azoulay, Kelly Powers, and Bill Oram and wife Amy. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
